Management Team and Key PersonalExecutive Director- Laureen Peltier Laureen has been an operations manager and Assistant Vice-President for US Bank for over 10 years. She has extended experiences in capacitating, financials and budget management, as well as acquisitions and conversions at a high level. She is trained at various levels of Human Resources including Federal and State Laws, and has conducted both leadership and ethics training. A strong accounting background, Laureen has managed Accounts Receivables for over 20 years, including risk assessment, credit management and loss prevention. Recently, she has stepped into Director of operations for a political fundraising company, expanding her resume to include fundraising, as well as Profit and Loss responsibilities. She is a speaker for RAINN, touring the country to speak to women regarding the healing process and empowering health care decisions. She is an advocate for women in therapy, as well as actively involved in lobbying for better mental health care. A published author, she seeks to expand women's knowledge on managing their own mental health care by introducing Integrative Psychiatry into health plans. Program Director of Counseling Services- Monica Ruth Monica has been an advocate related to women's issues. She has served as a resource for community request by facilitating circles through restorative justice process that helps mending harm done to individuals and restores well-being in families and communities. Population served: Families, communities, organizations, and facilities such as corrections for women. She has provided short-term assessment and makes referrals to other services when appropriate. She has a strong ability to assist and support residential participants in the process of determining and accomplishing their self-determined goals. She is aware of the critical nature of service provided to victims of domestic violence who are residing in residential programs including crisis and transitional. She has a commitment to meeting day-to-day needs of the women in a compassionate manner that is in harmony with the empowerment dynamic. Monica has strong leadership and management skills, strong attention to detail, customer orientation, analytical and problem solving skills, and are excellent in her organizational skills. Office Manager- Valerie Mims Valerie has been an operations supervisor in a call center for the last 10 years for US Bank. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of staff, as well as training, coaching and mentoring. In addition she also managed financials, which included all aspects of forecasting, capacity planning, and budgeting. She is an active participant in US Banks community outreach programs and has been a high school mentor and motivational speaker to young adults. Prior to US Bank, Valerie was a full-charge bookkeeper for over 10 years. Her bookkeeping experience as been in food franchises, tractor dealership and private medical offices. In addition, Valerie has volunteered at many county agencies that serve individuals and families. She has strong community ties and is actively involved in encouraging individuals to grow and achieve their highest potential, through mentoring and education. |
